NID & NIFT are the institute that offers various UG and PG programs. They conduct national level entrance exams annually which are designed to test candidate’s creativity skills like drawing, observation, visualization and writing. Each year around 10000+ candidates appear for these entrance exams and later are selected based on a merit list, with such high competition candidates are required to prepare in such a way which will separate them from rest of their fellow candidates.

Both the entrance examinations comprises of three test which are named as creative ability test (CAT) and general ability test (GAT) and situational test (ST)
